AMECO USA manufactured cable-stayed bridge components for the North Avenue Chicago, Illinois Cable Stayed Bridge. The North Avenue Bridge is both a suspension bridge, and a cable stayed bridge. The center of the main span is held aloft by suspension cables, while the remainder of the roadway is supported by cables which radiate from the towers. The North Avenue bridge has a length of 420 feet with tower heights of 50 feet.
