Skydance Oklahoma City Cable Stayed Pedestrian Bridge
AMECO USA fabricated cable stayed bridge components for the Skydance Oklahoma City Cable Stayed Pedestrian Bridge. The Skydance cable stayed Pedestrian Bridge design is said to be inspired by the "sky dance" of the scissor-tailed flycatcher, the state bird of Oklahoma. The 18-story structure is 30-feet wide and stretches 440-feet across the new 10-lane I-40 south of downtown. This bridge is made with stainless steel panels that shimmers in the sun, and uplighting at night will emit a skyward glow. The wings, to be made from a translucent material, will appear to glow from within.
